We provide our community members with personal and professional growth opportunities and create a space in which young people are empowered to take action through:The Transformative Education Format, which provides our members with tools to deconstruct the cause of a social and/or environmental issue from critical, multidisciplinary perspectives. Specifically, we aim to provide a space for decolonial education, critical thinking and accountability.The Starter Pack Format, which provides hands-on skills for young people who want to take action. We aim to strengthen young change makers capacities, for example through leadership, marketing, fundraising or impact assessment workshops.The Pitch Night Format, which provides a link between young people and potential employers/initiatives. We aim to facilitate more equitable access to internship opportunities, volunteer work and board positions. Moreover, young talent from our network can assist in accelerating existing social initiatives/startups.

YOUth ACT

Time really flies when you do what you love. YOUth ACT is excited and honoured to announce the final event of our first Starter Pack cohort.Our current cohort of young social and environmental founders made remarkable progress over the past 5 months. More precisely, 10 young founders worked on remarkable projects addressing environmental, racial and gender equity. During their journey, they were supported by 40 brilliant mentors, 20 workshop hosts and our dedicated team. During this Demo Day, you will learn more about the groundbreaking projects of our participants and their efforts to build a more inclusive and sustainable future. Come by to be inspired, make connections and learn!WHAT TO EXPECT- Meet inspiring founders and learn about their social impact projects;- Network with our mentors, partners, community and team;- Get to know YOUth ACT and our Starter Pack program. WHO IS GOING TO BE THEREWe are looking forward to welcoming our cohort, mentors, team, friends and family to the event, as well as our partners without whom we would not have been able to bring such an engaging and enriching programme to life.Furthermore, YOUth ACT encourages everyone who is interested in the Starter Pack programme (as a future participant, mentor, sponsor, investor or partner) to join and get a taste of what we do.
