Empower webinar week: Designing Online Assessment
About this event
In this Empower webinar week, EADTU will share expertise on designing online assessment. We will focus on the challenges, practices and new developments during the pandemic, examples of research and innovation in online assessment, and the supportive (or non-supportive) national policies and frameworks that define the context of assessment for institutions.
The webinar week is one of the outcomes of EADTU's Special Interest Group (SIG) on Online Assessment, representing 17 EADTU member institutions. It will feature practical examples from SIG members that can help, if not inspire developing better practice and new thinking in other institutions. The event will expand on the report that was launched by the SIG.
Speakers include: Klaus-Dieter Rossade, (Open University, UK), Carlton Wood (Open University, UK) George Ubachs (EADTU), Diogo Casa Nova (Universidade Aberta), Henrietta Carbonel (UniDistance Suisse), José Aznarte (UNED), Kirsi Saarinen (TAMK) and Ekaterina Muravyeva (Open Universiteit, NL)
In each session there will be time reserved for reflection and questions from the participants.
