CTA Legacy on D4Ag...

Building on the CTA legacy on digitalisation for agriculture (D4Ag), the Digital Agri Hub has already been announced in several meetings and events. The Digital Agri Hub will monitor developments in digital solutions for agriculture. It will provide data, insights and impact metrics. The goal is to help lead investments towards agricultural transformation in low-and middle-income countries.

Why a Digital Agri Hub?

The development of digital solutions for agriculture is hampered by a lack of overview on developments in the sector, ecosystem fragmentation and a lack of sustained growth of digital solutions.

Strengthening collaborations and stakeholder participation to create economic value for digital innovations will play a crucial role behind the scenes of the Digital Agri Hub.

How to collaborate?

We conducted a stakeholder needs assessment: we interviewed 45 organisations who have been central in the D4Ag ecosystem. Most stakeholders showed great interest and support for the Digital Agri Hub. One common question that rose from the interviews was: how can we collaborate with the Hub?

A partnering strategy with the wider stakeholder network will be presented. You will be invited to share your expectations and how we can live up to them.

Purpose

This launching event will serve to introduce the Digital Agri Hub as a facility, while providing a platform to collect valuable feedback from the extensive partner community. This will also mark the start of annual series events tailor-made to bring together relevant partners.
