Digital Connectivity for Future Proof Critical Operations

Digital Connectivity for Future Proof Critical Operations

DuurzaamheidsfabriekDordrecht, ZH
Thursday, Mar 19 from 10 am to 6 pm CET
Overview

Join us for the first 26 seminar: Building the Connectivity Digital Infrastructure for Future Proof Critical Operations

As part of the PRIMMA initiative, we continue the programme for '26 with a first seminar. We invite international and regional partners to an immersive full-day programme in the Drechtsteden region, exploring how future-proof digital connectivity enables critical operations in ports, maritime industry, logistics, and industrial innovation for eg. drones and autonomous vehicles use cases. Drechtsteden is part of the Rotterdam conglomerate and houses many maritime industries and shipyards. The event is organised as part of the DigitalZH programme in cooperation with Techbinder.

The day combines an inspiring morning site visit to leading maritime and industrial innovators with an interactive afternoon session at the Duurzaamheidsfabriek in Dordrecht - a living innovation environment showcasing sustainability, smart industry, and advanced digital infrastructure.

Participants will explore the risks of innovating without a resilient connectivity strategy, learn how to design and ascertain robust digital infrastructure, and examine real-world use cases in industrial IoT, private wireless networks, sensors, autonomous operations, and mission-critical communications. Industry experts from Viavi, LS Telcom, Techbinder, and PRIMMA partners will share hands-on insights into network performance, operational excellence, and connectivity decision-making.

A key part of the programme is interactive collaboration where participants will map their own - or their clients - wireless connectivity challenges and their requirements for criticality, resilience and availability. This in turn will then point at wireless connectivity alternatives and roadmaps for digital infrastructure for critical operations.

The day concludes with a networking reception and live demonstrations, offering space to connect, exchange ideas, and explore next-step collaboration within the PRIMMA ecosystem.
