About this event

Science & Tech • Science

Since 1926, the Dr. Catharine van Tussenbroek Foundation has promoted the scientific advancement of women through the award of international travel grants. Over 1,100 women at Dutch universities have benefitted from these grants in the last 100 years.

On 23 April 2026 at De Zalen van Zeven, Boothstraat, Utrecht from 11.00 to 18:00 we will pay tribute to the foundation's groundbreaking namesake - Dr. Catharine van Tussenbroek - a physician and early feminist and celebrate the achievements of female academics with a lunch, thought-provoking presentations and discussions, and hear what has happened to some of the grantees since 1928, followed by networking drinks.

More details on the speakers to follow!

This event is free, but for catering purposes, we ask you to register via this Eventbrite page before 15 April 2026.
