Drawing in AI times - Online presentation + Q&amp;AIn this personal presentation I'll give a crash course on how generative AI works from the perspective of an illustrator who used to study AI a very long time ago. From this, I'll share my views on what these developments mean for creative professionals, and how we can navigate these changes in a way that helps us. We'll end with a Q&amp;A where you can ask all your questions and I'll try my best to answer.This presentation is an English version translation of the Dutch talk that was given at the Pictoright Jaarvergadering on June 13th 2024 in Amsterdam, during a thematic evening titled "Maker, Markt, Macht", or "Creative, Market, Power": on the ever growing influence of generative AI and big tech on the creative industry.Tickets for this event are free.
