On the day of the Spring Equinox, when day and night are of equal length, we invite you to join Dreamwind, a beautiful workshop led by artist Daniel Godínez Nivón. This event is a collective exploration of wind as a messenger, guiding migrations, shaping memory, and carrying unseen stories across landscapes.Through embodied listening, dreamwork, and silent observation, participants will attune to the currents of air, following the movements of birds and the whispers of the wind to deepen their connection with transitions, dreams, and the unseen pathways of flight.Practicalities <ul><li>We will start outside, so dress warm</li><li>You are invited to bring a feather</li><li>This activity does not include dinner </li></ul>About the artistDaniel Godínez Nivón (Mexico City, 1985) is a visual artist, educator, and independent researcher based in Amsterdam. His practice merges social participation, education, and collective knowledge, employing methodologies like tequio—a traditional form of communal work rooted in Indigenous communities, especially in Oaxaca. Currently, he explores the relationship between dreaming and nature, investigating how the dreams of humans and other beings can deepen our understanding of environmental issues and inspire collective imagination.Daniel was a resident at the Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastricht, Netherlands (2021-2022). His work has been exhibited, screened, and performed at prominent venues including the Van Abbemuseum and the Stedelijk Museum (Netherlands), Kunsthalle Bern (Switzerland), Ashkal Alwan (Beirut), and the Amant Foundation (New York). In 2022, he received the Prince Claus Fellows Award and represented Mexico at the 23rd International Exhibition of the Milan Triennale, where his work received the Silver Bee Award for the second-best pavilion. From 2025 Daniel is a recipient of the Mondrian Fund’s Artist Basis Stipendium.
