About this event
All of us have made drawings at a point in our lives, but suddenly we stopped. Why? Perhaps because we did not find it useful, or we may think that drawing is for children. However, when you look around, drawings, infographics, and cartoons are widely used.
Drawing is a way to communicate ideas much faster than reading text, you can convey your messages in a more emotional and lively way, and in doing so open a door to education, ideas generation, and discussion.
You don't need to be an artist or have any drawing experience, Step by step, you will learn to draw pictograms, figures, and graphic elements so you will acquire basic knowledge of the visual language for the classroom.
In this workshop, we will practice simple drawing techniques and how and where to apply them. We will also learn how to use simple elements to make drawings and convey an idea.
Juan Francisco Sánchez is an engineer, who started drawing as a kid and decided never to stop. At work, Juan uses drawings to explain simple and complex processes in a fun way. His drawings and animations have been showcased in GLOW since 2019, and you can find some of them being used by small entrepreneurs within the Brabant region.
