Inspired by the latest collection of fashion brand <a href="https://el-residu.com/en" title="https://el-residu.com/en" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">el.résidu</a>, in this workshop you will eco dye a silk scarf from left over fabrics with flowers and spices.Opposed to the often polluting chemical fabric dyes, you can also dye fabrics with natural dyes - think of beet root, onions, flowers, spices, and make beautiful prints with them.During this workshop, provided by Ella Brouwer, fashion designer and founder el.résidu, you'll get:<ul><li>A brief explanation of the dyeing technique used in the collection of el.résidu</li><li>A silk scarf, to which you'll l apply the dyeing technique used in the el.résidu collection</li><li>Various types of flowers and herbs to creat your unique print.</li></ul> Especially for the SF.Collective launch, we offer this workshop free of charge. We therefore would appreciate it if you would share your experience via your social channels and tag el.résidu. Please note:The workshop will take about 45 min to 60 min. For the dye to fixate to the fabric and to cool down, will take 40 minutes. If you cannot stay longer, we can send the scarf to your home address or you pick it up at the el.résidu office at another day.
