About this event

  • Event lasts 3 hours 30 minutes

The year 2025 is shaping up to be an important year for sustainable finance in Europe. In the first quarter alone, we have seen key developments such as theCompass for Competitiveness, the inaugural Sustainable Finance Omnibus Package, eight publications by the Platform on Sustainable Finance, and the scheduled review of the EU Taxonomy.

Against this dynamic backdrop, several speakers will discuss different aspects of the EU Taxonomy and its upcoming review and the wider impact of sustainability regulation and other developments, particularly in the context of Dutch residential mortgages.

We will be joined by a diverse group of stakeholders, including regulators, supervisors, lenders, and other market participants, to explore the implications, opportunities, and challenges that lie ahead.

We are proud to announce the following speakers:

Carlo di Maio – ECB – Head of Climate and ESG risks

Aimée Felix and Mieke Pels – Ministry of VRO – Department of policy and energy

Tanja Cuppen – Dijkgraaf Waterschap Rivierenland & RvC NHG

Rolf Heynen – CEO of Sunergy & author of numerous sustainability publications & books
