The webinar is aimed at providing an overview on what’s going on in respect of the recent updates to the European space for civil society organisations. In particular we will look at the European Parliament Legal Affairs Committee proposal for “A statute for European cross-border associations and non-profit organisations”.

Following the Commission’s announcement of its plans to create a legal framework to strengthen and protect civil society organisations throughout the European Union, and the launch of a public consultation, this webinar will provide an overview of the proposal, along with key insights and opportunities for European organisations.

Beyond disseminating information, the purpose is to encourage contribution by EFA members and our members’ members to take an active part in the public consultation.
