Employers Stakeholder Event
Bringing together employers and experts from universities to discuss microcredentials and short learning programmes for a responsive development of knowledge and skills for an evolving labour market. Employers can come from public and private enterprises.
Goal:
- Discuss the opportunities offered by microcredentials and short learning programmes for continuing education and professional development, responding to the needs for new knowledge upskilling and reskilling
- Collaboration and co-creation for enhancing the professional orientation of programmes
- Discuss employer perspectives on continuing education and professional development
- Learn from European wide practices
Context:
- European policies with regard to microcredentials and short learning programmes for continuing education and professional development
- Developments regarding modular curriculum development for continuing education
- Current discussions related to the transformation of European universities
Profile of participants:
- Employer representatives from the partner universities
- Employer (sectoral) organisations
- Professional organisations
- Experts on microcredentials and short learning programmes
During this stakeholder meeting there will be three engaging sessions:
- Opportunities offered by microcredentials and short learning programmes: new ways for continuing education and professional development (OUNL)
- How to conceive modularity? (EADTU)
- Collaboration and co-creation of courses and programmes (UNINETTUNO, Universidade Aberta, University of Jyväskylä)
