This one is a no-drop, stick together and have a chat kind of ride. It is the shorter version of our Saturday Social ride. As we want everyone to have a fun time, please, make sure you come prepared accordingly.

This ride is for me if:

• I already did rides of 60kms and above in distance (and I did not die of exhaustion at the end),
• I own clip-less pedals and cleated cycling shoes,
• I can signal my way correctly in a group ride and have rode in a group of more than 3 riders in the past,
• I know how to drink, eat and dress appropriately for the weather and the distance I am riding.

If you answered “no” to any of the above or did not understand what the hell we are on about, then we would recommend that you first join our monthly “Beginners” group ride where you will learn the basics to be able to join these rides in the future.

THE LOWDOWN

Ride time: 2.5 hours total (2 hours on bike)

Distance: 50-60km

When: 10:30 every Sunday

Suitable for: Intermediate cyclists (read the section above to know if this ride is for you)

Total spaces: 12

Start / Finish: En Route Cycling Cafe, 69 Bilderdijkstraat Amsterdam

Ride leader: One of our En Route crew members

What to bring:

• Bike,
• Helmet (mandatory / can be hired at En Route),
• Cycling/workout clothes suitable for the weather,
• Cleated cycling shoes and clipless pedals,
• Water-bottle,
• Yourself, then we have got everything for post and pre ride fuel at the Cafe 😉

No bike? No problem. If you're joining without wheels, or keen to try a new ride, simply let us know 24 hours in advance - we're happy to prepare a rental bike for you.

Storage facilities are limited - small items can be looked after but please leave large valuables at home.
