The ESA BIC Noordwijk, managed by SBIC Noordwijk, is ESA's business incubation programme that enables founders and entrepreneurs to develop their space business related ideas and supports them during their adventurous journey.

We offer regular info sessions in the lead up to the ESA BIC selection deadlines. These can take the form of online webinars and in-person meet-and-great sessions, as outlined on our ESA BIC Open House page. Maybe you already joined previous webinars and still have questions. Maybe you have considered applying to ESA BIC previously but are looking for that extra push to make 2026 the year that you submit your application. We are here to help you prepare and we are eager to hear the questions that you want answering.

We'll provide you with initial information to get ready for applying by the spring selection deadline of 30 March 2026. The ESA Business Incubation Centre (ESA BIC Noordwijk) will be introduced and presented by the ESA BIC Noordwijk programme manager Martijn Leinweber. There will be two additional webinars in March to provide support. Preparing a thorough application is a detailed process and we recommend to download the documents and take a look through to see what info is required and let us know if anything needs clarifying.

Each webinar is scheduled for 30 minutes, split between 10 mins for the online presentation and 20 mins for Q&A with the participants.

BACKGROUND

The Space Business Innovation Centre Noordwijk (SBIC Noordwijk) supports space related startups and initiatives in various stages of their development. Next to ESA's business incubation programme, we also manage pre-incubation and Dutch relocation programmes. Over the years, jointly with NL Space Campus, we have also managed the ESA Technology Broker Netherlands and the ESA Phi-Lab Netherlands.
