Managed by SBIC Noordwijk, ESA BIC Noordwijk is ESA's business incubation programme in the Netherlands that enables founders and entrepreneurs to develop their space business related ideas and receive support during their adventurous journey.
We are calling for startups to take action. No matter what stage you are at – whether you want to validate your space business idea and bring it to market or get the push to finish a prototype that is already in the making – the ESA BIC programme will provide support as you advance your business model.

Get inspired to start your application journey to ESA BIC Noordwijk! We have two selection rounds each year – with the fall deadline for applications being 5 Oct 2026.
This webinar is scheduled for max. 60 minutes (though, it might be shorter). It will be split between general info about ESA BIC and then the alumnus interview, followed by plenty of time for Q&A with the participants.
We can't wait to hear what new business ideas will come in via the next selection round. Which startups will be transforming space data downstream into climate action for the benefit of life on Earth, which will opt for the space asset of technology transfer & which will be innovating with new space tech to concentrate on upstream technologies? We have to wait and see!
The webinar is hosted by Jacobo Domingo (ESA BIC programme manager) who will be on hand to answer your questions and whom you can meet in person at the (optional) informal ESA BIC Open House at SBIC prior to this webinar (details here).

The Dutch business incubation centre of the European Space Agency (ESA BIC Noordwijk) was the first set up by ESA 20+ years ago and now the network has expanded to 36 ESA BICs across Europe. ESA runs an open call for startups with an innovative (and validated) space business idea to apply and reap the benefit that brings – funding, plus business/technical support – as well as being part of our community at SBIC Noordwijk. Jacobo Domingo is the ESA BIC Noordwijk manager and the business development manager at SBIC Noordwijk, with over a decade of experience guiding space businesses. Jacobo has international experience in startups, entrepreneurship and business support.
