Program Details:

During this 4 week workshop, you will go on a journey of self-discovery and learn where your stressors come from. We will explore tools and engage in self-care practices o further deepen your self-discovery.

Everyday Self-Care is a journey in which you will learn to listen to yourself, understand your stressors, and build your self-care plan in order to empower your calm. During each session, you will engage with gentle movement, education, meditation and reflection exercises.

By participating in this program attendees will explore the following:

  • Learn why self-care is so important to take care of your body, mind and soul.
  • Discover the tools to build your self-care plan to ensure mental and physical well-being.
  • Learn how to listen to your body, feelings and thoughts without being overwhelmed.
  • Learn to understand your stressors and act in kindness towards yourself in order to empower calm.

Who is this program for: Everyone who would like to empower their calm. 

A 2.5 hour live-online session will be held each week and will cover the following topics:

Week 1: Self-care and Self-compassion

Before moving into a journey of self-discovery it is important to understand how to be compassionate towards yourself instead of critical. Becoming your best friend and speaking to yourself with kindness and care, will help empower your strength and ability towards neuroplasticity (changing your brain paths with new habits). We will also spend some time reflecting on your self-care wheel - how do you spend your time and how would you like to spend your time?

Week 2: Neuroplasticity - Developing New Brain Paths

During the second week of this workshop, you will learn how your brain can form new pathways when engaging with new habits of self-care. This session will include creating your very own learning bucket list , where you can journal your personal goals of new habits you would like to learn and put into practice. 

Week 3: Breath and the Nervous System

This session is a gateway to discovering how your nervous system responds to stress and pressure. We will discuss what tools you can use to calm your nervous system down in order to improve your calm. You will learn specific breathing exercises and how to reflect on your stressors.

Week 4: How to Invite Creativity Into Your Life

During the last session of the workshop you will learn how to empower your creativity, exploring what your creativity can look like, and engaging with your inner child. At the end of the session you are invited to join in a playful walk and drawing exercises.
