Clear lines and sober colors. Architecture that simultaneously exudes power and Zen. That is the essence of Think New Modern: design with a soul. Piet Swimberghe & Jan Verlinde are pleased to invite you to the launch of their new book: Think New Modern, in one of the many unique houses featured in the book: a nonconformist building in Kampenhout, designed by architects Bart Lens & Thijs Prinsen.

Contemporary Western architecture impregnated with influences from outside Europe. India and Morocco coming together in a pearl of brick. That explains this building’s brick façade curtain. It’s a structure full of light slits, rough materials and surprising details. Together with the authors, the architects are happy to guide you through the building, talk about new trends and what ‘New Modern’ actually means.
