Expanding Practices

Are you an artist, designer, architect, or other emerging creative? Join us for an afternoon of conversations, hands-on workshops and networking drinks. You’ll explore new ways to develop your practice, find inspiration and expand your network, as well as turning your ideas into meaningful projects.

This event is aimed at students, emerging creatives and established professionals working in art, design, architecture or digital culture. Bringing together creatives from these different fields, it will introduce participants to a wide range of relevant organisations and professionals from Rotterdam, the Netherlands and the international community.

The afternoon begins with interactive discussions with makers, collectives, funders, curators and gallerists, focusing on new tools, vocabulary, and future models for today’s creatives. After a short break, the event continues with focused sessions and hands-on workshops led by partners Level Up, the Network Archives Design and Digital Culture (NADD), Rotterdam Design Biennale, Nieuwe Instituut and DutchCulture.
