A hybrid collaborative response to the current state of the North African fashion system. Value and perception are key drivers in how we respond to fashion. Join us to look and how value is assigned and how you can break the cycle, an amazing collaboration with collective members Sacer, Shell Homage and founder Nada Koreish. Our OLLA is not YOUR OLLAGFA to us is a chance at balance, equity and a shot at shifting the focus from the western canon, and revealing that all systems and standards are the golden standard. everything we do is set in a colonial regimented way. even as we type i relaise we are adhering tot he colonial ways of old, not OUR ways of old. this is a chance to change that. whether it be via showcasing how absurd fashion can be and how powerful, or by using our language our time of day, or our materials to make this statement. GFA has been close to our hearts as we were one of the founding members. this is simply the start of a wave of change, we are teaching our children and their children how to embrace their culture and make it theirs. a hybrid event for a hybrid creation. discover your Olla.

تحالف تحرير الموضة في شمال أفريقياشل هوماج هي مادة مركبة قابلة للتحلل الحيوي من قشور البيض و المكسرات المختلفة. المواد الناتجة قابلة للتحلل الحيوي و هي بديل للبلاستيك الضار للبيئة ويمكن تطبيقها في العديد من التطبيقات و المجالات مثل التصميم الداخلي والاضاءة وتصميم الأثاث والإكسسوارات المنزلية والسلع الاستهلاكية والطباعة ثلاثية الأبعاد وتصميم المجوهرات. المادة المبتكرة شل هوماج يبدو وكأنه رخام أو أحجار طبيعية ولكنه مصنوع من فضلات الطعام. ويمكن التحكم في خصائص المواد وفقا للتطبيق. ويختلف سطح المادة من الخام إلى الأملس وغير الشفاف والشفاف .الهدف هو إنشاء منتجات وظيفية ومستدامة لها عمر افتراضي ويجب أن تكون قابلة للتحلل البيولوجي بالكامل. وافتعال المواد الحيوي القائمة على الحشوات الطبيعية مثل قشور البيض و المكسرات المختلفة دون مواد كيميائية سامة. الهدف توفير منتجات قابلة انها تتحلل إذا تراجعت إلى حديقتك إذا لم تعد بحاجة إليها بعد حين. إنه الحل النهائي للتخلص من الأشياء بدلا من تخزينها لسنوات والتخلص من البلاستيك الذي لا يتحلل أبدا. هذه الأشياء والمواد المطورة لديها هدف للتثقيف والتنوير حول كيفية صنعها ومن صنعها، والمكونات ولماذا علينا استخدمها وإلهام الناس. الفكرة هي العمل مع مواد الربط النباتية الحيوية والحشوات الطبيعية (نفايات الطعام)، وتجربة التأثيرات غير المتوقعة لهذه المواد وتقنيات الإنتاج: التقنيات عالية التقنية والمصنوعة يدويا. كل قطعة مصنوعة يدويا في مزيج فريد من الألوان والأنماط. وكل المواد قابلة للتسميد بنسبة 100٪ في حين لم تعد قيد الاستخدام. ظهرت شل هوماج من قبل على إن بي سي وسي ان بي سي في واشنطن ورويترز والجزيرة الإنجليزية وفازت بالعديد من جوائز التصميم الدولية المرموقة.

Rania from Shell Homage will show Olla prototypes to the audience (online & in-person), talking about the creation process and the materials. We invite attendees online and offline to interact by using paper & colors to draw their own Olla with personalized designs and/or construct their own Olla using Shell Homage materials.
