Starting a new job/ internship in Brussels or in your home country and you need to work with EU affairs (EU institutions/permanent representation/public affairs/NGO/consultancy/trade association)?
Do you already want to familiarise yourself with the skills needed in EU public affairs? Do you want to be a step ahead and add value to your organisation from day one? Do you want to get to know other interns or professionals to increase your network and make friends? This is your chance!
This hands-on course is designed to provide interns with a specific must-have skill-set and will deal with the following elements of EU Affairs:
- Refresher: How the European institutions work and how to work with them
- How to monitor and analyse EU policy and legislation
- How to organise a successful advocacy event in Brussels
- How to write a policy brief
- Shortcuts to success
