The participants of We Dance Together - The Obsessors #2 invite you to an open session marking the closing of the workshop series they have taken part in.

After several weeks of shared practice, this evening opens the studio to anyone who wishes to witness and experience the final moment of this collective process.

We would love to share this moment with you and welcome you into the space.

The session is open to everyone. No prior knowledge or participation is required.

When: Thursday, 19 February — 8pm

Where: ICK Dans Amsterdam / Space for Dance Art

Community Ritual Dance and Performance by Thais Di Marco

The Obsessors is rooted in the practice of desobsessão, a collective ritual from Umbanda in which communities gather to cleanse themselves from obsessive forces that shape desire, behavior and exhaustion. Through dance, performance and collective presence, participants explore how invisible influences can be transformed into creative and political force.
