Take time for yourself. To explore your reason for being. And step over the mental barriers that keep you stuck. Using Ikigai, a Japanese concept that roughly translates into ‘a reason for being’, you will have the opportunity dive deeper and place a dot on the horizon that begins steering your career towards one that personally drives you. We will close with wild swimming, to show you what is possible when you step over your fears and immerse yourself in cold water. Designed specifically for professionals who feel at a loss as to what comes next in their career or are missing a sense of purpose in their professional lives. You will… <ul><li>Have time to reflect and explore your personal purpose</li><li>Find connection, motivation, and solidarity with other professionals in similar stages of their lives </li><li>Put a dot on the horizon and sketch out a plan that will help you achieve your vision </li><li>Push yourself out of your comfort zone into cold water with a wild swim</li></ul>Expect an engaging morning with focused time and space to explore, share and uncover in a small group setting. To immerse yourself in the IJ in central Amsterdam as a way to open yourself to the possibility of what comes next. Your facilitator Perle Laouenan-Catchpole is a facilitator and connector of people. She has designed and delivered workshops for Booking.com, PVH, Tony&#x27;s Chocolonely, Adama, and Syngenta. Ikigai lead her in the professional direction of facilitation in 2019. As an avid wild swimmer, she has felt the benefits of cold water immersion to push her past her fear barriers and continue realising her dreams as a facilitator, spoken word artist, and moderator. Venue My home on KNSM Island, Amsterdam Oost. Tea, coffee and homemade cake will be provided on arrival, during a break and after our cold water immersion. C﻿ost 3﻿0 euros per participant* *﻿This is a lower introductory cost as all participants will be invited to provide detailed feedback so the workshop can be iterated and evolved for future groups.
