About this event

Wild fermentations are worlds apart from those made with traditional, isolated strains. To experience this for ourselves, we'll be making two batches of honey wine, also called mead, to compare. One will use natural yeasts from homegrown fruits to ferment honey gathered from our own hives. The other will use the industrial alternatives. We'll do all of this outside, in our young food forest.

Materials are included. You will take home everything you need to start making wine at home as well as the finished wines once they are bottled.

Dutch and English language both available.
