FORWARD Amsterdam Event

FORWARDis gericht op het bevorderen van de acceptatie, erkenning en zichtbaarheid van LHBTQIA+ personen binnen de Nederlandse juridische beroepsgroep en staat open voor alle LGBTQIA+ (minded) juristen die werkzaam zijn bij de aangesloten kantoren dan wel in het bedrijfsleven, de overheid, de rechterlijke macht en de juridisch academische wereld.FORWARDhas as its mission promoting acceptance, recognition and visibility of LGBTQIA+ people within the Dutch legal profession and is open to all LGBTQIA+ (minded) legal professionals that work at one of the associated firms or at businesses, the government, the judiciary sector or the legal academic world.

<p>On 26 February 2026, FORWARD Amsterdam organizes its first event of 2026. Our guest speaker is Sandro Kortekaas. Sandro is the chairman and founder of LGBT Asylum Support, an organization committed to the safety and rights of LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers in the Netherlands. He is deeply involved in supporting vulnerable refugees, conducting legal proceedings, and addressing abuses in asylum policy. Afterwards, there will be a social gathering with drinks and bites.</p><p>The event will take place at Baker &amp; McKenzie (Claude Debussylaan 54, 1082 MD Amsterdam).</p>
