De Stichting Jazz in Groningen wil haar doelstelling: 'het bevorderen van de jazz en geïmproviseerde muziek in de meest brede zin van het woord', vervullen door met haar reguliere concerten te zorgen voor continuïteit in het bijzondere muziekaanbod op kleinere podia.

Vier bands met in totaal meer dan twintig studenten van het Prins Claus Conservatorium geven acte de présence in Brouwerij Martinus! Iedere band speelt een half uur. Stijlen en bezettingen zijn gevarieerd. Deze veelbelovende jonge musici bewijzen dat echte jazz nog steeds alive and kicking is!Four bands with more than twenty students in total from the Prins Claus Conservatorium will take the stage in Brouwerij Martinus! Each band will play for half an hour. Styles and line-ups will vary.
