Is the lesson free of cost?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The lesson is completely free of cost. Coffee and tea will also be available for free. The 
learning materials provided can be used for free, but they need to remain at school after the end 
of the lesson.

Question 2

I am already a student at Una Paloma Blanca. Can I participate?

Accepted Answer

If you’re already studying Dutch, we recommend not joining. But if you’re studying a different language, you’re welcome to join!

Question 3

I can’t participate anymore. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

Unexpected things happen, and it is no problem if you can’t participate anymore. We ask you to 
please cancel your ticket via the platform or email hagata@unapalomablanca.nl, so another 
student will have the opportunity to take the lesson.

Question 4

Is the lesson suitable for total beginners?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The lesson is at the A1 level, suitable for total beginners.  However, levels of language knowledge can differ even within a group of A1 students. The teacher will try to make the lesson suitable for all.

How do I know if my language level is A1?

Accepted Answer

If you want to be sure about your level, you can take our free online language test here: 
https://www.unapalomablanca.com/test-your-language-level.php 
After taking the test, please email hagata@unapalomablanca.nl asking for the result, and you 
will receive it.

Question 6

Can I participate if my level is higher than A1?  Part 1

Accepted Answer

If your level is A2, you can still participate. It’s a way to refresh your knowledge, get to know our 
school facilities, the teacher, and the teaching methodology. But if your level is B1 or higher, we 
advise you not to participate.

Question 7

Can I participate if my level is higher than A1? Part 2

Accepted Answer

We might plan trial lessons for the intermediate level in the future, and you can participate in 
those. 
We also organize monthly free Language Café events in Eindhoven for beginners, intermediate, 
and advanced learners. You can participate in those.

Question 8

Does the school have free parking?

Accepted Answer

No. It has paid street parking.

Question 9

I don’t want to be in the event pictures. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

We might take pictures during the lesson for marketing purposes. If you prefer not to be in the 
pictures, please let the teacher know.

Question 10

Can I show up without a ticket?

Accepted Answer

For this event, you should take a ticket. The spots are limited, so we need to know in 
advance the total number of students. If you show up without a ticket and the lesson has 
already reached the limit of students, we won’t be able to accommodate you.
