Event description

Description

The Circular Economy is the way forward”. With these simple words, the European Union has highlighted the significance of this sector. The pioneering province of Frisia - situated in the North of The Netherlands – has understood this for years.

Together, we are building a sustainable and green future for Europe and our planet. The circular economy and sustainable agriculture are key components for the Union’s 2030 and 2050 goals. As an innovative province in both of these areas, Frisia is proud to organise on Monday, the 25th of September 2017, at the Solvay Library in Brussels, a reception dedicated to the circular economy and sustainable agriculture together with Arno Brok, the King’s Commissioner of the province of Frisia, Jan Huitema, MEP and member of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development and Ingrid Zeegers, director of ‘Circulair Friesland’

We hope to welcome you to hear your story, as well as present our own.
