Trial and error is an integral part of entrepreneurship. With FuckUp nights, BlueCity aims to cater the innovation ecosystem of Rotterdam. It’s where stories of failed businesses are told, questioned, and celebrated. Next up: What the FOAK?! During this special edition of FuckUp Nights, four members of the circular ecosystem will take the stage to share their story about an epic fuckup encountered while building a First-of-a-Kind factory.Scaling and building a first-of-a-kind factory (FOAK) presents CAPEX heavy companies with significant challenges: new technologies, a profitable financial model, restrictive legislation, solid plant design, securing offtake, and a stable supply of (circular or biobased) raw materials that are not only safe but also of consistent quality. ...To name a few.During this special edition of FuckUp Nights, four members of the circular ecosystem will take the stage to share their story about an epic fuckup encountered while building a FOAK. What went wrong? And what did they learn? After these brave people shared their story, both moderator Sabine Biesheuvel and audience get to fire all their questions at them during a rapid Q&amp;A.Note: this event is in English.
