How much does it cost to join the club?

Joining the club is completely free and very easy.
Simply sign up for our mailing list to hear about upcoming events.
We want to make it welcoming and effortless for people to connect.
Our goal is to offer free or low-cost gatherings where everyone feels included.

Do I need to be living in Bezuidenhout to be able to participate in your events?

Everyone is welcome to join. Whether you work or live nearby or just enjoy spending time around here, you're invited to participate and connect with us.

What kind of events do you organize?

From casual social meetups and hobby groups to career and business networking and parent&kids activities,-we aim to offer something for everyone.

How do I stay up to date about what is happening in the club?

Sign up for our newsletter and you'll get event news and updates every two weeks. You can do it via our website (www.bezuidenhoutsocialclub.nl) or by scanning the QR code on the header. Or, simply join one of our events and you are in!

Do I need to register for events in advance?

All of our events require a pre-registration.
Details are always shared in our newsletter and event announcements.

Do I need to speak Dutch?

Communication language in our events is English, and we're happy to welcome both internationals and Dutch locals who enjoy connecting in English. Having this mix of people is what makes the community vibrant and unique—it’s a chance for cultural exchange as well as building new connections.

Do I need to come alone, or can I bring a friend, partner, or kids?

Our events are primarily designed to be friendly for solo participation. 
You are more than welcome to bring someone along!
Whether you prefer to join us solo or with a partner, you will find a warm and welcoming space.

Will I actually meet people like me?

Our community is made up of a diverse mix of people: internationals, Dutch locals, students, young professionals, parents, new comers and long-time residents.
Because we organize a wide range of activities you’re likely to find people who share your interests, background, or life experience.

Is this space welcoming to everyone (age, background, family status, LGBTQ+, neurodiverse, etc.)?

Absolutely. Diversity, equality and inclusion belong to  our core values. 
We warmly welcome diversity in all its forms. 
We want Bezuidenhout Social Club to be a space where everyone feels at home, no matter their age, preferences, identity, background, or personal situation.

Where are the events held?

Most of our events take place right in the Theresiastraat in Bezuidenhout.

We make use of our lovely local cafés, community centers, and  venues to keep things accessible and convenient. 
We also organize outings to cultural spots, museums, etc, but our home base remains the neighborhood.

How often are events organized?

We run activities throughout the month, with a mix of weekly, monthly, and seasonal events.
Some are casual and recurring, like coffee meetups, while others are special one-off gatherings, workshops, or outings.
