About this event
On Tuesday December 21, DGA will host a 'GDC Introduction' event, made possible by Creative Holland and RVO (Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland). Not a regular GDC visitor? Or maybe you haven't ever been there at all? Then we highly encourage you to join this session!
This GDC Introduction event will prepare you to get the most out of your GDC trip. It focuses on what you can do at GDC and where to do it (there are activities all over San Francisco), how you can best prepare yourself and how to plan your days most effectively.
We will start with a network lunch at 13.00, where you can connect to other attendees who will go GDC, and talk to 'veterans' (for example Martine Spaans, Fedor van Herpen and Derk de Geus) who visited GDC several times. A great time to make new connections and to learn the ins and outs of GDC.
At 14.00 there will be two short talks:
- A practical guide to your GDC experience (talk by Martine Spaans)
- How to find the perfect business partner (talk by Derk de Geus)
Then at 15.00 there will be an interactive session in which every attendee gets 5 minutes to shortly introduce themselves, but moreover to talk about what they'd like to achieve at GDC. You will then get tips and tricks from experts that can help you realize your goals, which you can implement starting the day after.
At 16.00 there will be drinks, a bite and networking and connecting with the other attendees.
We close the event at 17.00.
Tickets are € 10 (plus fees).
