Our panelists:
Petra Beris is the Co-founder and Director of TransitionHERO, a company dedicated to helping GreenTech startups scale their technologies through algorithmic design. Leading the company since April 2019, Petra has driven numerous impactful and innovative projects from Rotterdam, Netherlands. She previously chaired Engineers Without Borders Netherlands, where she promoted sustainable solutions for developing countries. Petra brings extensive experience in new business and innovation management from her time at Tebodin, focusing on circular economy initiatives, and at Allseas, where she led multidisciplinary engineering projects and innovation efforts.
Anita Vink-Abaisa is a versatile professional excelling as Project Leader at Gemeente Leiden while also directing Ibias VR. With a rich background in education, entrepreneurship, and leadership, she empowers and networks for black women through her initiative, Black Ladies Talk. Additionally, Anita is a committee member at VRARA Netherlands and has held impactful roles at organizations like SheCredit Kredietunie Nederland and Humanitas. Passionate about learning and facilitating growth, Anita is dedicated to fostering positive change in her community and beyond.
Liezel van Beek, Founder and Managing Director of Access to Africa, has a rich blend of expertise in international trade, journalism, and psychology. With over two decades of leadership experience, she empowers people globally through her Energy Leadership Approach.
