🎮 Get-go Games is a solo exhibition of Friendly Liu, highlighting the child games from Hong Kong in the ’90s. It returns to NGO DEI for the fifth time. The first year of the exhibition was held in 2021 at the first gallery of NGO DEI in Prague, Czech Republic.
As a Hong Kong artist based in Berlin for over 10 years, Friendly Liu depicts her memories of Hong Kong from her illustrations, digital art, handicrafts to mural. In Get Go Games, she combines her interpretations with 12 original games from Hong Kong, to share a collective game memory with audiences overseas. She redesigned these games and invited audiences to be players. By way of her collection to arouse the playfulness within adults, as well as to enjoy the authentic Hong Kong childhood. Friendly plans to add music to the upcoming show. She will release her first official song at NGO DEI.
