Join us for a planning session with Sinéad Hewson, author of The Mature Student's Guide to completing a Doctorate on Friday, June 26, at 15:00:00 GMT / 16:00 (Central European Standard Time). This event is specifically designed for mature students in the middle of their studies and anyone who is thinking about starting a doctoral programme.
In this session you will plan activities around the summer break, family, work and vacations so that you can recharge your batteries, catch up on tasks and embrace the next stage of your doctoral journey.

Summer is the time to take a break as well as catch up on outstanding items in your doctoral programme. This session focuses on ways participants can proactively manage their responsibilities AND take time out to relax and have a summer vacation.
Unconventional Doctorates Community and close
Our purpose is to tackle low completion rates among doctoral candidates, particularly those from underrepresented groups, who are self-funded or not working in education. You are welcome to join the community. Ways to get involved will be briefly mentioned in the session.
