Verhalen over trots en twijfel, tradities die schuren en verrassende verbindingen.Samen met Rotterdamse kunstenaars en denkers creëren we ruimte waarin kunst, gesprekken en workshops samenkomen. Before the closing concert of Heilige Huisjes Rotterdam, illustrator Liliana van Velzen invites you into the world of Studio Ghibli. In this hands-on workshop you will create your very own Ghibli character, brought to life through sketching and colouring.The evening begins with a short introduction to the history of Studio Ghibli and its iconic visual world. Using a character prompt sheet, you will explore who your character is and where they belong in the Ghibli universe. With Liliana guiding you along the way, you will sketch and colour your character into existence.At the end of the workshop, everyone shares their creations in a short show and tell. The results will then be presented during the closing concert with the Kaiju Project, where the music of Ghibli comes to life on stage. No drawing experience needed.
