We are dedicated to cultivating the art of classical guitar in the Netherlands by organising concerts, masterclasses, conferences, festival and international competition. We strive to preserve the national heritage of the instrument and build international relationships with prominent guitar centres.

(English below)Oman Kaminsky komt oorspronkelijk uit Mexico-Stad en is een van de belangrijkste gitaristen van zijn generatie. In 2008 ontving hij van de president van Mexico de nationale jeugdprijs op het gebied van de kunsten.Hij behaalde zijn bachelordiploma met de hoogste onderscheiding aan de ‘Escuela Superior de Música’, waar hij studeerde onder supervisie van Isabelle Villey.Na zijn studie in Mexico ging hij naar Nederland om een Master in gitaar en kamermuziek te volgen aan het ‘Koninklijk Conservatorium’ in Den Haag, waar hij studeerde bij Maestro Zoran Dukic. Tijdens zijn studie in Nederland werd hij onderscheiden met de prestigieuze ‘HSP Huygens beurs’. De Nederlandse regering geeft deze prijs alleen aan de meest uitmuntende studenten. Onlangs voltooide hij zijn tweede masterstudie, ditmaal in muziekpedagogiek aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium, dankzij de studiebeurs FONCA-CONACYT. Hij ontving talrijke onderscheidingen als solist en in kamermuziekverband.Oman Kaminsky heeft deelgenomen aan festivals in Mexico, Nederland, Spanje, België, Duitsland, Denemarken, Oostenrijk en de VS en speelde in de belangrijkste concertzalen, zoals de Carnegie Hall in New York en het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.Hij trad op met orkesten in Mexico en Nederland, waaronder de Nederlandse première van het Concerto voor twee gitaren en orkest van Jana Obravska.-------------| English |-------------Originally from Mexico City, Oman Kaminsky is one of the leading guitarists of his generation. In 2008 he received from the President of Mexico the National Youth Award in the field of arts.He earned his bachelor&#x27;s degree with the highest honors in the Escuela Superior de Música from the National Institute of Fine Arts, where he studied under the supervision of Isabelle Villey.After his studies in Mexico he went to The Netherlands to study a Master&#x27;s degree in guitar and chamber music at the &quot;Koninklijk Conservatorium&quot; in The Hague, where he studied with Maestro Zoran Dukic. During his studies in The Netherlands he was awarded with the prestigious &quot;HSP Huygens scholarship”. The Dutch government gives this award only to the most outstanding students. He recently finished his second master’s degree, this time in Music Pedagogy at the Koninklijk Conservatorium, thanks to the scholarship FONCA- CONACYT. He has received numerous awards, as a soloist and in chamber music.Oman Kaminsky has participated in festivals in Mexico, Holland, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Austria and the USA, including the most important concerts halls like the Carnegie Hall in NY or the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.He performed with orchestras in Mexico and Holland, including the Dutch Premiere of the Concerto for two guitars and orchestra by Jana Obravska.
