Graphic Design Fair 2025

Nieuwe Instituut is het nationale museum voor architectuur, design en digitale cultuur. Nieuwe Instituut houdt zich bezig met de grote ontwikkelingen in de maatschappij, zoals de krapte op de woningmarkt, de energietransitie, de opkomst van kunstmatige intelligentie, mobiliteit of het gebruik van de publieke ruimte. Ontwerpers, waaronder architecten en digitale makers, kunnen aan die ontwikkelingen een belangrijke bijdrage leveren. Nieuwe Instituut toont het werk van ontwerpers, brengt mensen met elkaar in contact, verzamelt, ontwikkelt en deelt kennis.

Nieuwe Instituut and NAi Booksellers are organising a new edition of the Graphic Design Fair on 23 February 2025, during the Design Biennale Rotterdam.Established and emerging graphic designers will take visitors through their creative process. You can take part in workshops, attend presentations and browse through a wide range of unique designs, both analogue and digital. <h4>Grow and flourish</h4>This year’s theme is ‘growth’. Everything revolves around what graphic designers and makers need to grow and flourish professionally –whether it’s pruning your portfolio, tending your garden of ideas or planting seeds for future projects and collaborations. Two- and three-dimensional work is also available to buy.With keynote presentations by Onno Blase, Nadie Borggreve, and Freeling Waters, as well as Pecha Kucha sessions from ST-DUO, Motormond Magazine, Guido de Boer, and Studio Salt, Pepper, and Peace. In addition, there will be workshops from Glitter Studio (screen printing patches workshop), Studio Melli (Perso-Arabic type workshop), and a children's workshop by Esmée Dros. <h4>Visiting</h4>Admission to the Graphic Design Fair is free. Nieuwe Instituut en NAi Boekverkopers organiseren een nieuwe editie van de Graphic Design Fair op 23 februari 2025, tijdens de Design Biennale Rotterdam.Gevestigde en aanstormende grafisch ontwerpers nemen bezoekers mee in hun creatieve proces. Je kunt meedoen aan workshops, presentaties bijwonen en struinen langs een gevarieerd aanbod aan unieke ontwerpen; zowel analoog als digitaal. <h4>Groeien en bloeien</h4>Het thema dit jaar is ‘groei’. Alles draait om wat grafisch ontwerpers en makers nodig hebben om professioneel te groeien en bloeien. Of het nu gaat om het snoeien van je portfolio, je tuin aan ideeën te laten floreren of het planten van zaadjes voor toekomstige projecten en samenwerkingen.
