Greek is a fascinating, solitary branch of the Indo-European language family, and it is spoken in Greece and Cyprus. Many words in mythology, science and philosophy have their origins in Greek, but of course the Greeks also talk about food, the weather, politics, music, love and everything else in life! This is also what you can expect in the Greek lessons at Taalhuis Amsterdam.
In the first course (A1.1) you will learn the alphabet and you will probably find that it is less mysterious than it looks. You will be introduced to the Greek cases and the beautiful verbs and structures. In the A2, B1, B2 and C1 courses, you will build your language skills step by step (σιγά σιγά) to be able to talk, read and write about all kinds of topics.
