Join our Greek Taalkeuken Workshop – Learn Greek Through Traditional Cooking
Discover the Greek language and culture through hands-on cooking in our Greek Taalkeuken workshop. Under the guidance of our guest chef Anastasis, you will learn essential Greek cooking vocabulary while preparing a traditional Greek dinner menu. The main dish of the workshop is Papoutsakia (oven-baked eggplant) with mushrooms and feta, served with rice flavored with star anise and a cabbage–carrot salad.

These recipes come from the heart of Greek family-style dining, where friends and relatives gather to enjoy homemade dishes and meaningful conversation. During this 2.5-hour workshop, you will actively prepare your own meal while learning practical Greek phrases, cultural insights, and stories connected to Greek culinary traditions.
After the cooking session, we will enjoy a small drink, set the table together, sample a few starters, and then taste the comforting Greek dishes you have created. This is a unique opportunity to explore the language, cuisine, and cultural heritage of Greece in an engaging and interactive way.
