Guided Forest Therapy walk developed by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy is a practice that involves immersive experiences in natural environments guided by a trained facilitator. This practice is not a form of psychotherapy. It is inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing.
Forest therapy is profound given the increasing challenges related to health, well-being, and environmental disconnect in our modern society. It promotes relaxation, improved mental health and clarity, boosted immunity due to exposure to nature, deepened connection to nature and promotes ecological mindfulness and a sense of belonging that is not only beneficial for personal well-being but can also inspire environmentally responsible behaviours.
💚 This is for you if you’re looking to enjoy the benefits described above AND to participate in this experience with openness, curiousity and deep respect for others and nature.
❌ This is not for you if you’re looking to e.g. hike, grow your naturalist knowledge, be diagnosed or coached during the immersion.
PS. This edition will close with a short sound bath, guiding you into deep relaxation through soothing vibrations and harmonics from instruments like crystal singing bowls and chimes.
