On January 21st, we will unpack what we can do to support the people on the ground in the Occupied Territories:Our event will start with a contextual update about the state of the economy in Palestinian Territory. After this, Rand Safi and Samah Ramadan will tell us more about the NGO Gaza Sky Geeks. Gaza Sky Geeks, which was set up by Mercy Corps and supported by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in The Netherlands, supports tech-enabled companies to create jobs and innovation in Palestinian Territories.Agenda:6-7pm: Dinner (Optional) - Modest financial contributions apply, these tickets are available up until one week before the dialogue (January 14th)7-8pm: Hybrid Dialogue &amp; Interventions by above mentioned speakers8-9pm: In-the room Dialogue &amp; Reflections The session is open to HER Collective Members as well as our wider network. Dial in will be available for part of the session (from 7-9pm CET; Links shared upon registration).The evening is hosted and moderated by Saskia Verbunt (Philips) and Tessa Terpstra (Save the Children). They are joined by their fellow leads for this agenda within HER Collective, themed Gaza: Leading in Conflict, by Liesbeth Unger (Human Rights at Work), Mayada El-Zoghbi (KIT), and students Anna Hensbergen, and Eefje van Iperen.
