ESG-related disputes are on the rise, particularly across development projects, environmental conflicts, and complex community-corporate dynamics. With groundbreaking regulatory frameworks like the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) coming into force, companies are now required to establish robust grievance mechanisms. This shift has sparked an urgent global demand for specialized mediation expertise.During this webinar, Subcommittee members will use practical case studies to explore the intricate complexity of ESG disputes and will, together with participants, discuss a draft roadmap for establishing clear mediator competency standards. We aim to jointly examine how competent, highly skilled mediators can bridge the gap between corporate grievance mechanisms, Independent Accountability Mechanisms (IAMs), and civil society organizations (CSOs/NGOs). <h3>🟢 The Mediators Green Pledge</h3>In alignment with the values of World Environment Day, IMI is proud to assume stewardship of the Mediators Green Pledge.
