IMI International Mediation Soirée

The International Mediation Institute is a non-profit public initiative with the vision of professional mediation worldwide, promoting consensus and access to justice.  To this end it convenes global stakeholders in establishing high mediation standards, promotes understanding and adoption of mediation, and disseminates skills and materials for parties, counsel, and mediators, including a professional Code of Conduct.  By driving transparency and high competency standards in mediation worldwide, IMI is making a positive difference to the dispute resolution world.

The International Mediation Institute is again bringing an exciting program and networking opportunity within the ICC Mediation Week, connecting the international mediation community with local users. Vibrant discussions within two panels will be continued with a cocktail reception.All ICC Mediation Professionals are invited, as well as IMI and mediation supporters and professionals wishing to exchange and network to advance mediation worldwide.Registration is free of charge; however, we kindly ask for a <a href="https://imimediation.org/support/donation/" title="https://imimediation.org/support/donation/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">donation in the minimum amount of €50</a> to help us further <a href="https://imimediation.org/about/vision-and-mission/" title="https://imimediation.org/about/vision-and-mission/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">IMI's Vision and Mission</a> as an international non-profit foundation established to further Professional Mediation Worldwide and promote consensus and access to justice.Attendance will be granted on a first-come-first-served basis, with IMI Certified Mediators and YMI/Task Force members being given preference. It will be a cosy event as the venue allows for 50 attendants.The event is verified by CEDR for continuing professional development (CPD) and continuing legal education (CLE). Doors will open at 6 PM, with the Panel Discussions starting at 6:30 PM.The International Mediation Soirée is kindly hosted by <a href="https://www.degaullefleurance.com/" title="https://www.degaullefleurance.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">De Gaulle Fleurance</a>, courtesy of Pierrick Le Goff, IMI’s Chair. The venue is a <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/KYMAcNMuB1QMGU1D7" title="https://maps.app.goo.gl/KYMAcNMuB1QMGU1D7" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">30 minute walk</a> from Espace Clery.The 19th ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition is taking place from 5-10 February 2024 in Paris, France. The Competition is the International Chamber of Commerce’s largest educational event of the year and a unique networking opportunity. The ICC Mediation Week not only enables university students to practise and excel in negotiation and mediation advocacy while engaging in mock mediations, it is also a unique opportunity for experienced mediators to act as mediators, as well as for mediators young in experience to volunteer as “Mediation Session Supervisors”.The Competition is proudly supported by the <a href="https://imimediation.org" title="https://imimediation.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">International Mediation Institute </a>and the <a href="https://imimediation.org/ymi/about-ymi/" title="https://imimediation.org/ymi/about-ymi/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Young Mediators’ Initiative</a>.We hope to see you in Paris!
