What happened to VRDays?

VRDays still exists, but instead of the name of the event, it is the name of the foundation. And the VRDays Foundation is organising the Immersive Tech Week festival in Rotterdam this year. Join us at de Doelen, Schouwburgplein 50, 3012 CL Rotterdam from November 28th – December 1st, 2023.

What is happening in Rotterdam? A lot!

We will host conferences, Trade Show, Church of VR, Playground, Impulse (formerly IFM), a Hackathon, the prestigious VR Awards, Performance Nights and dinners and social events. Be sure to check out our website and see what is ticketed, what is open to the public and what is invite only!

Is there an online element this year?

Accepted Answer

All attendees with a Full Day, Trade show, Student pass or Virtual Pass will receive access to our Meet2Match app which will enable streaming content of the conferences besides networking. In due time recorded parts of the conferences will also be released online for all attendees to enjoy.

Question 4

Where can I use a promo code?

Accepted Answer

If you have a promo code please click the correct ticket on our ticketing page. Click "Enter code" under the Promo Code tab (in the upper left corner, above the first ticket option). Type in your code and click Apply. Select your tickets and click "Checkout". Complete your order.

Question 5

What is accessible for free?

Accepted Answer

Playground in the main hall of de Doelen is accessible for everybody for free, but we do ask you to make a reservation for a time slot. Reservations for Playground will go live on 15th September 2023.

What is accessible with all the different tickets

Accepted Answer

Best is to check out our tickets page to get a good overview of the tickets. Important: VR Awards dinner and after party tickets need to be bought through the VR awards team. Tickets to the XR Performance nights need to be bought separately through de Doelen.

How do I get to Playground?

Playground is free and located in the main hall of de Doelen and accessible via de Doelens Main Entrance at Schouwburgplein 50, 3012 CL Rotterdam . Entrance is free but you will need to book a timeslot via our ticketing page. This will help us create the best experience for all and limit waiting tim

How do I get access to the MeetToMatch Networking App?

Make sure you complete the full registration so we can create an account before Immersive Tech Week starts. If this does not work it will also be possible to enter at Immersive Tech Week. Ask for assistance when collecting your badge.

Question 9

How can I access the event?

Accepted Answer

There are several tickets available for both professionals as students, researchers and the general public. Go to our ticket page and choose which ticket is the right one for you. Please make sure you complete the full registration process for your tickets to be activated.

Are there Social Events and how can I attend them?

Accepted Answer

Yes! All social events will be communicated through our website and social channels so keep up with them. We will also keep you informed during the event of course. Some social events like the Opening Dinner require tickets, but many networking drinks and gatherings are free for all.

Will I be able to re-watch the conferences?

Accepted Answer

Parts of the programme will be available online. The conferences in the Jurriaanse zaal will be streamed, available through our Meet2Match app. In due time content may also be released for the general public after the event.

Can you help me apply for a visa if I buy a ticket

Accepted Answer

We are very sorry but for attendees we cannot assist in obtaining a visa in any way.

Question 13

Can I attend the VR Awards?

Accepted Answer

Full Pass owners will have a chance to attend the VR Awards ceremony. Please note though, seating is limited, not guaranteed and will be appointed in a “first come, first serve” manner. For the dinner and afterparty separate ticketing is required through the VR Awards website.

Can I buy tickets on invoice?

Accepted Answer

Currently, Eventbrite does not support payment through invoices. We are looking into this with our team and plan to explore suitable options after the holidays (second part of August). However, please note that this feature might be primarily available for larger orders.
