If you need to change your email, please simply re-register via Eventbrite.**---- What is the Indo-Dutch Cyber Security School?The Indo-Dutch Cyber Security School (IDCSS) is an online Cyber Security school for postgraduate students and young to mid-career professionals who are interested in cybersecurity issues and are based in India or the Netherlands. IDCSS is organised by The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies (HCSS), the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) and the Cyber Security Centre of Excellence, as well as several other sponsors. For the selection your background will be considered. You do not need to have a background in cybersecurity or any directly related field of study, but we are looking for candidates already somewhat familiar and deeply interested in the field. We furthermore give priority to applicants who sign up early, so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible!Programme of IDCSS24The program of the IDCSS consists of two parts.The first part takes place from October 14th until October 25th 2024, consisting of 20 FREE lectures from renowned experts on a wide range of cybersecurity-related topics, such as ethics, accountability, hardware security, incident response, data protection, and norms and governance.The second part will take place from October 25th until November 8th 2024, where groups will work together on case studies provided by leading Indian and Dutch organisations and pitch their findings to a panel of experts that will subsequently determine the best proposal(s). The members of the best teams will be awarded distinctions and certificates!Throughout the program, students will engage in online action learning through a Strategic Capability Game, developed by The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies (HCSS). This will give students the opportunity to operationalise the knowledge they gained through the lectures.General Data Protection Regulation notice:We will retain your registration history and use the personal details you provide in the form for handover to partner organisations and for social media outreach and recruitment.
