The sun is back, nature is awakening from hibernation, our energy levels are rising—it's time to celebrate the return of spring. How can we make the best out of it? Our bodies are part of nature and every time the seasons change they go through a transition as well. Spring is a season of rebirth when the body comes alive again, it's all about making our energy move after the winter hibernation and opening ourselves to new possibilities in the months ahead. It's a yearly new beginning you don't want to miss. To tune in with this uplifting energy we want to 𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺 it. That's why we felt inspired to organise this workshop for you—join us for a self-care afternoon to nourish your whole body after winter with somatic practices, experiental meditation, face yoga and sound and make yourself glow from inside out! This is what the afternoon looks like: - opening &amp; getting cosy- somatic practice to embody the energy of the spring- uplifting face yoga practice- ending with relaxation: meditation &amp; sound Somatics We'll start the workshop with a somatic embodiment practice that consists of meditative movement and breath. We work on opening the body and making the energy flow, inviting our bodies to tune in with the energy of the spring season. Somatics is a body-based approach to healing, where we use the body intentionally to cultivate a deeper relationship with ourselves and to bring more balance to our system. Face yoga After the embodiment we'll move onto face yoga. We'll combine posture exercises, facial exercises, breath awareness and facial massage. This will improve the blood flow to your face, support your lymphatic system, release tension, relax your face and strengthen the facial muscles for a healthy, tight, and smooth complexion. It will also uplift your entire state of mind! A facial oil will be available during the class but you are free to bring your own if you prefer it. You can wear make up, however placing the hands on the face multiple times it might alter it. Your hosts Titta is a somatic coach who loves to create safe spaces for others to discover their inner world. She's passionate about helping people to develop a deeper and more authentic relationship with their bodies. She's also an energy healing practitioner and she often weaves her knowledge about energy in her somatic classes. Sorina is a dedicated yoga student, practitioner, and teacher, inspired by classical Yoga philosophy, classical tantra, western philosophy and science. Since 2021 she has incorporated face yoga in her regular yoga asana practice observing not only improvements in her complexion, but also enhanced overall awareness and mental clarity. Practical Info No earlier experience is needed to attend. As we'll do some movement, please wear something comfortable that allows you to move freely—if you want, you can wear light colours to match the theme of the workshop.
