<h3>Inner Light: Philosophy Salon</h3>Our privilege as humans is that we can rely on reason - not react or act automatically, but think through the idea, consider options, and settle on the best decision or outcome. Many times, though, this process doesn't cut it. And many times, it is even wrong - creates a bigger mess out of a situation and yields darkness rather than clarity and light. This Philosophy Salon is about other ways of knowing - intuition, insight, and the kinds of inner experience that generate a stronger sense of self, better decisions, and serve to illuminate our lives. <h3>Meeting Information</h3>Doors open at 18:45 and close at 19:10. Please be on time! We won't be able to accommodate attendees arriving after 19:10. <h3>Philosophy Salons</h3>The Philosophy Salons are gatherings of curious people to explore big ideas with an open mind. The Philosophy Salons are organized by Anya Farennikova, a philosopher of mind based in Amsterdam. We dive deep into beliefs and ideas, dive out, and have fun along the way!
