How are TU Delft educators reshaping learning and education with open, interactive textbooks? Join us for an informal lunch session where participants from the Open Interactive Textbooks (OIT) programme share their knowledge, experiences and ideas.

Room: IDE Studio K3, 32.A-K-300
Lunch is included

Agenda:
12:30–12:45 — Walk-in & lunch
12:45–13:00 — Presentation by Iuri Rocha
13:00–13:45 — Moderated discussion

The final 15 minutes of the session are reserved for wrapping up, allowing participants to leave in time for their next appointments.

Session details:

In this session, Iuri Rocha, an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences, will present how he uses an Open Interactive Textbook in his teaching. He’ll share his experience of integrating OIT into his course, what worked well, and what he’s learned along the way.

The presentation will be followed by a moderated discussion where we’ll explore together:

· How do you use Jupyter based interactive learning materials, such as OIT in your course?

· How it reshapes the experience of education?

· What challenges have you encountered?

Curious about OITs?
This is a great chance to connect with TU Delft’s growing community of educators who are creating or using OITs. Whether you're just starting out or already working with OITs, join us to exchange ideas, meet like-minded peers, and explore how open tools can support and enhance your teaching.
