Investment Symposium 2022

Erasmus Investment Society B&R Beurs is the largest student-run investment society of the Benelux with around a thousand active members. Our members are part of investment groups and invest in the financial markets. B&R Beurs  organises its very own weekly B&R Investment Academy to provide its members with extra knowledge about investing. The society also organizes biweekly social drinks where you have the opportunity to discuss investments while having a beer. Furthermore we have solid connections with industry leading financial institutions. Our global alumni network encompasses many financial professionals working in asset management, investment banking, securities and alternative investments.The Financial Study association Rotterdam (FSR) is the study association for students interested in (Quantitative) Finance, Accounting and Controlling at Erasmus University Rotterdam, both at Erasmus School of Economics and Rotterdam School of Management. Each year we organise various prestigious activities like the International Banking Cycle, International Research Project, Corporate Finance Competition and the Erasmus Banking Summit. Other activities include workshops, company visits, study trips and company drinks. Additionally, the FSR helps professors to arrange guest speakers for their courses. The FSR organises these activities for her 2500 members interested in finance and/or accounting. To make these events possible, the FSR has partnerships with over 100 companies in several sectors. Furthermore, the FSR has a strong connection with both the ESE and the RSM of the Erasmus University.

On May 16, the most prestigious chapter of the Investment Week will be held, the Investment Symposium. Throughout the evening, five industry professionals within BlackRock, AllianceBernstein, ING, Aegon AM and DWS share their perspectives on this year’s topic: Funding the Future. After sharing their thoughts, the floor is opened for the audience to ask questions. This way, the evening becomes an interactive session between attending industry professionals and excellent students.
