Kubernetes is at the centre of this revolution and this event will highlight its many merits (and few drawbacks!) and why and how it has become so crucial to so many enterprises and businesses. In particular, we will focus on its nature as an open-source, extensible orchestrator and why thousands of developers around the world contribute daily to it, making it one of the largest, collaborative software projects ever created by mankind. We will also cover why the Cloud Native Computing Foundation and the communities formed around its inception have been paramount to its success. You&#x27;ll also be given some pointers to start your learning journey in Cloud Native for those willing to learn and contribute.

G﻿uest speaker: Alessandro VozzaCommunity leader and CNCF ambassador, Alessandro has spent the last few years building cloud-native infrastructures for Microsoft customers, animating the Dutch community, and training others to pass the CKx exams. He has a passion for all things cloud native, he's been around open source for 25 years and recently moved to a new Developer Relations role.
