JAGAE (자개), pronounced Jah-gae, is the Korean word for natural mother-of-pearl. Unlike plastic beads or resin, we use real abalone shells that have been used in Korean royal art for over 1,000 years. Each piece is unique and reflects a beautiful "light that never changes."

Do I need to bring any tools or materials?

No, just bring your creativity! We provide all professional crafting materials, including natural shells, base charms, and tweezers. A signature Korean drink and a traditional Yakwa honey cookie are also included in your ticket.

Are the snacks and drinks allergy-friendly?

Accepted Answer

The provided snack is Yakwa (Korean honey cookie), which contains wheat (gluten), honey, and sesame oil. It may also contain traces of nuts. If you have specific dietary needs, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Yes, the class is conducted in English to welcome our local and international community in Rotterdam and Amsterdam.

What if I can’t attend? Can I get a refund?

We offer a full refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before the event. Within 7 days, tickets are non-refundable as we source and prepare high-quality natural materials specifically for you. However, you can always transfer your ticket to a friend!
